Lillian Leventhal Obituary

Leventhal, Lillian R. 79, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Skokie and Chicago, passed away November 9, 2005, in Tampa. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerome (Jerry) Leventhal of Chicago and her loving parents, Charles and Fannie Pallock of Chicago. She is survived by her daughter, Judith (German) Andrade her beloved and devoted, daughter and son in law, Ivy and Joseph Szematowicz; loving grandchildren, Tracy Barad, Daniel Szematowicz and Brett Szematowicz; great -grandchildren, Justice Oznoff and David Smith. Mrs. Leventhal was member of Congregation Kol-Ami in Tampa and lifelong former member of Maine Township Jewish Congregation in DesPlaines, IL. She was also past president and membership chairman of the Women's American ORT - Village Chapter and Bay Horizons Chapter. Mrs. Leventhal was also the former leader and treasurer of TOPS, Inc. in Skokie and Tampa. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. (today) Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 West Rand Road (at Route 53), Arlington Heights, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Women's American ORT - Village Chapter in Skokie or Bay Horizons Chapter in Tampa.
