Lester J. Lay, 74, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a pipe fitter for Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Steelton, Pennsylvania, before his retirement, died at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Lower Paxton Township, Pennsylvania, on Friday, December 29, 2000. Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2001, noon to 1 p.m., at First Harrisburg Seventh Day Adventist Church, 424 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, 1 p.m., at the church. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township.
