Dear Cousins and Uncle Kevin,
Ron and I want to tell you how much we love you and loved Aunt Lee. We are so thankful that we got to spend time with you all this past Christmas. Aunt Lee was always so kind and loving to us and my parents and sisters. We're sorry we could not make it into Chicago in time for the funeral, but know that our hearts and prayers are with you all. We hope that you find comfort in knowing that Aunt Lee is in heaven.
We love you all so much.

Liz,
I know how painful the loss of a parent is... it's an ache that you think will never leave you. But the
love and memories you have of your mother will always remain with you.
That love and those memories will supplant the heartache... at least enough of it... for it will be what you remember most about your mother, not the chaos and grief yu encounter now.
