My sincere sympathy to Aunt Laurice, all the kids and grandkids. I remember him as the gentle giant, as well as the host of enormous Christmas Eve Parties at his home filled with tons of desserts when I was a kid. He was my Godfather and gave me a beautiful bracelet one year and each year he would get me another charm to add to it. I couldn't wait to see what charm I would get each year. My favorite was the birthday cake that the candles would pop up when you pushed a lever underneath it. I am also grateful for his help with getting my father to Mayo Clinic. His help saved my dad. Will always be eternally grateful. Rest in Peace Uncle Lenny and once again my condolences to the whole family.

Aunt Laurice and the whole family,
I wish I could be there to say good bye to Uncle Lenny, I will miss his laugh and hearing his stories. His rye bread and sausage was the best and I will never taste anything it like it again. I hope he has found dad and they are swapping stories of the old days in Heaven. I'm sure dad is showing off his train board. Love to you all

Len leaves a wonderful legacy, his beautiful family. He will be greatly missed and long remembered. It's such a blessing that he could be surrounded by all his children as he left this world. My love and hugs to the whole family..

Len was a great father and husband. His kids have 100's of wonderful stories to tell about growing up in his household. (and they love to reminisce, often....and loudly). I remember that one of the first times I saw Len and Laurice together, they were holding hands as they walked. I was moved by the fact that they still showed their affection for each other in this way - they were probably in their mid 60's. And with that love they raised eight happy children that have carried on many of their childhood traditions with their own children, nieces and nephews. His was a life well lived. Rest in peace, Len.
