Leona Kubaszewski Obituary
Kubaszewski, Leona formerly of Chicago, born to Mary (nee Mirocha) and Walter Putyra on December 27, 1919. Called to eternal life, November 23, 2006. Wife of the late Edward, whom she married September 7, 1946. Leona was an avid BINGO player, member of the Arlington Hts. Senior Center and a big fan of John Wayne and his movies. She really enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas. Survived by her children, Clifford (Helen) Kubek and Steve (Deborah) Kubek, grandchildren, Christopher Kubek, Ann Marie (Matt) Imherr and Matthew Kubek; brother, Steve (Eugenia), Putyra; sister-in-law, Viola Kubaszewski. Predeceased by all her sisters, the late Adele (John) Zych, Charlotte (Al) Lewandowski, Helen (Ted) Krawiec, Gene (Joe) Mazur, and her beloved dog "Tippy". Funeral Monday, November 27th, at 9:30 a.m., from Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave. to St. Tarcissus Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert.
