Silverman, Leon age 77, of Morton Grove, studied to be a Docent at the newly opened Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, Skokie, beloved husband for 52 years of Beverly (nee Sloan), loving father of Glenn, Jeffrey (Hannya), and Arthur (Randee), adored grandfather of Salima, Rebecca, Gabriela, Leo, and Alex, dear brother of Marian (Jerry) Kamin, Crystal Graves, Sylvia Jenness, and the late Bernard (Alice) and Dr. Paul (Nancy), treasured uncle and great-uncle of many. Service Tuesday, 12 Noon at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you during this very difficult time. They say as time passes, things get easier, they dont know everything but, we are here for you although not physically mentally we have never left you side.
