Dear Maria-
I send you and your family my deepest sympathies. Leo was a dear friend and both a fine family man and an excellent business man. He was not only honorable but highly competent in his professional life. He was proud of you and your sons and their families as well as their accomplishments. His record at Pearl Harbor and in 28 subsequent naval engagements during WWII was outstanding. He was a courageous and remarkable man. I take comfort in knowing that he was with us for 89 years.
