I worked for Leo in the cafeteria from 1967 thru 1970 mopping the floors and cleaning the insinerator everyday. I also worked the weekend dances, Leo would drive me home afterwards because he lived just a few blocks away. I believe that he went to highschool with my father Frank Youngs at Leo highschool in Chicago. He taught me a good work ethic! Great memories from more 50 years ago!!!

Deepest sympathy to his family. A good and generous man in every sense of the word; to know him was to love him.
Some of my fondest memories of Leo were the many times he gave a group of us a ride home from the Mendel cafeteria after school. We used to kid him on how he flashed through the stick shifting on the old green Chevrolet he used to drive. I always felt a lot more religious getting out of the car at the end of the trip than I did when I first got in.
Geez, won't we all miss him.

Dear Joe, Mary Anne, Rita, Leo and Mark,
Spent the better part of this week reminiscing about all the good times we had. Uncle Leo and Aunt Nano held a special place in all our hearts...I know we are all better for havng them in our lives. I receive comfort knowing that they are all sitting around a huge table up in heaven, having a good laugh (and eating really good food!!) My thoughts and prayers are with you all...Love, JoAnne
