Gumienny Sr., Leo L. age 91, Army Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Anastasia T. Gumienny (nee Spanczak), fond father of Leo Greg (Anita), loving brother of Eleanor Shonts Mailuck, Richard (Janie), the late Jean (Mike) Selep, Edward (Clara), and Eugene (Joyce), uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Monday, 9:30 a.m. from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 block S. of Ogden Ave.), Downers Grove, to St. Joseph Church, 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Illinois Chapter, P.O. Box 806457, Chicago, IL 60680-4125.
