Dear Sandy and Jeff,
I wanted to offer my deepest condolences on the loss of Lee. It has been many years since I have seen you, Sandy, and a few since I've seen you, Jeff, but our lives go back a long way as do my memories. Lee was a good person and he will be missed by so many. Life is short but we live on in the hearts of those that knew us and loved us. You and he are in my thoughts, prayers and heart.
Much love,
Mike Sparbeck

Dear Lee - Life is so precious, tender, and fleeting. Every day is a gift from God. I got to know you and your wonderful sence of humor through the years as we coached our kids in soccer togther; what a blessing. However our relationship was somewhat special this past year, and it was wonderful to see you conquer many of life's challenges. I'll always remember you as a good man - a family man, and a true friend. I'll see you one day soon!
Take care my friend,

Dear Sandy,
It's been a long time since we had the pleasure of meeting the Ornstein clan. I was a young Supt. of Schools when you first came to Deerfield. I remember having your boys in Wilmot School District 110. . . .way back when we were both young people. My wife Dorothy and I want to offer our most sincere condolences at this most stressful time in your life. We sort of keep in touch with the Ornstein's through our Daughter JoAnne who was in school with Jeffrey and still sees him occasionally. We do remember your husband Gene, and your sons Jeff, Brad, and Lee.
We were not in touch with you personally Sandy but were aware of the tradgedies you have experienced. We will keep Lee, his wife Mary, their three children Rebecca, Grant and Gilbert and you and Jeff in our prayers.
If there is anything we can do for you or Lee's family to assist in this most difficult time we are available.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Mary, Becka, Grant and the little sunshine as Lee called him Gilli. He has left our world and entered a better place. He will be missed. I first met Lee at the Mercantile Exchange. I also got a chance to meet his wonderful family. Lee knew how to put a sun in my day. He was a great person to work next to. He will be missed. Take care
