May 11, 2007, beloved husband of 53 years to Gertrude, loving father of Francine (Tom) Donnelly, Linda (Stefan) Sonnenschein, dear papa of Cassie and Michael Donnelly, brother of the late Evelyn Goldstein. Funeral services Monday, May 14, 2007, 12:30 p.m., at The Piser Chapels, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie, IL. Interment Waldheim Cemetery, Forest Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, 820 Davis St., Evanston, IL 60201. For info: 847-679-4740.

Uncle Laurie took me to the beach when I was young, watched me grow up, became a second father when my father died. He always gave me wise counsel. I will miss him a lot.
