Lawrence Van Mersbergen Obituary

I'll never forget when we started connecting on FB and my mom was asking if it was your dad. And then she starts telling me how her and your dad met- as babies in the playpen while their parents played cards. It was so nice that that my mom could reconnect with your dad and "catch up." I know how hard it is to lose your dad but I hope you are able to hang on to all of the memories he has created with you. Time will heal your hurt and he will never be forgotten. May God bless you and your family with strength, love and peace knowing that your father is in God's loving arms becoming an angel for others.

NTHS '57 has sadly lost one of our own. Larry was a wonderful guy, with a terrific sense of humor. Hopefully, fond memories will help at this difficult time.

He was a cherished part of those college memories.
His recent emails indicated he was looking forward to being with your mom once more. We will meet again, in Jesus.

To the Family and Friends of Larry. You have many precious memories. Mine started in 6th grade at Cleveland grad school. And how surprised I was when Larry told me he wore a size 13 shoe! Played basketball at NTHS with Larry....a "STRAIGHT SHOOTER" on and off the court.

This is a man I grew up with also known as my uncle Larry , he will be truly missed, I know I haven't seen him in years but he is in my heart and I know he is in heaven and joining my aunt Kathy to watch over us

Heaven has gained a new, brighter star!

I went to NTHS with Larry and recently visited him on a trip to Skokie. His 3 sons were the light of his life and he couldn't say enough about them. May God bless you.
