I lived in an apartment in a 3 flat that Larry owned, he was a genuinely nice guy with a gift for gab, and I was sad to see he passed. Condolences to his wife and son, whom he routinely gushed about to his tenants.

I knew Larry when were both taking night classes at Roosevelt University in the 70's. Smart and curious, loved challenging discourse. Kind to animals, small children, and anyone he perceived as vulnerable. Funny and generous. I'm sure he saw his son as his best contribution to the world. There should be more like him.

I knew Larry from when we were teenagers. I saw him when he came home on leave from the army, and then again ran into him in the late 1970s. A really great guy. A truly decent guy. My sincerest condolences to his wife and son.
