Lawrence J. “Larry” Cameron, 64, a resident of Homewood, Illinois, since 1953, a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, a Communication Services Technician for Lucent Technologies, and formerly employed at Western Electric and AT&T for 47 years, passed away at Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn, Illinois, on Wednesday, May 10, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, May 14, 2000, 2-8 p.m., at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 South Dixie Highway, Homewood. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 15, 8:45 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Joseph Church, 179th Street and Dixie Highway, Homewood, with Mass at 9:30 a.m., officiated by Father Ron.
