Barrett, Lawrence J. "Larry" 90, a Naperville, IL resident formerly of Cary, IL, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at his home. He was born August 24, 1914 in Chicago, IL. He is survived by Nine Children - Lawrence Jr. (Luisa) Barrett, Mary A. Barrett, Margaret (Leon) Kopera, Mary Lou (the late Steve) Fervida, Martin (Judy) Barrett, Jeremiah Barrett, John (Lexy) Barrett, Helen Kirsch and Bernard (the late Janice Martin) Barrett, Nine Grandchildren - Christopher Kopera, Annette Benkusky, Michael Barrett, Kelly Berning, Stephanie Stansell, Nicolas and Cassandra Barrett, Lawrence and Martin Barrett, A Brother - Jack (the late Giz) Barrett, Sister-in-Law Mary Lou Rodell, brothers-in-law Father Jeremiah Rodell, Jack Moriarty and Many Nieces and Nephews. Larry was preceded in death by His Wife - Agnes (nee Rodell) Barrett, His Parents - Martin and Margaret Barrett and Four Deceased Siblings-Helen (Joe) Tunney, Martin (Lori) Barrett, Anne (Bruno) Siegl, Peg (Jack) Moriarty and Brother-in-Law Leo (Cathy) Rodell. Larry grew up in Chicago near Belmont and Lincoln Avenues. He worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry. He was active in the church and served as a Grand Knight of Columbus. Family and Friends will meet for a Memorial Mass Tuesday, June 28, 11:00 A.M. at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL with Rev. Jeremiah Rodell officiating. Interment: PRIVATE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The H Foundation (sponsoring cancer research), 60 South LaGrange Road, LaGrange, IL 60525 Arrangements by Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, Naperville, IL. To the entire Barrett family...the Moriarty family sends our sincere thoughts and prayers to you all on the passing of our Uncle Larry. He was a great man and had a great family that took care of him for many years.
