Sieck, LaVerne H. (nee Hammann), age 87 years, beloved wife of the late Gordon P. Sieck, loving mother of Gayle (Ronald) Jacobs and LaDonn (Robert) Meyer, proud grandmother of Janice (Colin) Mulcahy, Jennifer and Ron Jacobs, Rob (fiancee, Jacqueline Blodgett), Bill (Shawnie) and John (Nicole) Meyer, dearest great-grandmother of Connor and the late Justin Meyer, fond aunt of Wayne (Marilyn) Sieck, Jayne (John) Michas and Kerry (Mary) Sieck. Retired funeral director with over 60 years of service at the E.C. Hammann Funeral Home, Inc., in Chicago. Visitation Tuesday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., with funeral services at 7:30 p.m., at The Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Interment will be private.
