Laurie Carbello Obituary

Carbello, Laurie Lee Age 50, of Huntley, passed away on November 13, 2014 of Ovarian cancer. Beloved wife of Rich for 16 years; loving mother of Cali. She graduated from Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois. Grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was an amazing person. She was very intelligent and caring. She will be highly missed by all, but especially by me. Her famous saying was "Life in this world is not a spectator sport, you have to get involved and question everything."

Rich and Cali, I am very sorry for your loss. I am very sad to see that Laurie passed away. It hurts my heart because we were very good friends in our 20s. I found this out on my own and spent a lot of time crying last night. So sorry. I pray for peace and comfort for you both and all family members.

To my very close, loyal union brother,
My heart goes out to you and your family during this hard time in your life. Just one time meeting Laurie, I could see what a great person she was and why your loss must be so great. She left behind a part of herself through your daughter...I hope that brings you comfort. You know that I will always be there if you need anything.
Your most loyal union brother,
Jimmy Socco

To Laurie's family: I have so many great memories of all of us growing up and celebrating holidays together. I haven't seen Laurie for many years, but when I last saw her she was happy and proud of her family. She looked just like her beautiful picture that is posted. I wish you all peace during this very difficult time.
Mary Schrunk, Laurie's cousin.
