Laurette Bergeron Obituary

Lincoln – Laurette (Laliberte) Bergeron, 94, of Sayles Hill Road, Manville died Wednesday, July 29 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. She was the wife of the late Irenee M. Bergeron.

Born in the Manville section of Lincoln, a daughter of the late Henri and Marie-Louise (Valois) Laliberte, she had lived in Manville for most of her life. She had also lived in Cumberland for 4 years.

Mrs. Bergeron was a mender at the former Savard Weaving Company, the former Manville-Jenks Company and the Rochambeau Mills before retiring in 1969.

She was a communicant of St. James Church, Manville and a member of its Union of Prayer.

She was a member of the Riverside Village Tenants Association.

She is survived by a sister, Claire Lamoureux of Woonsocket; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albertine Lafond, Germaine Mathieu, Marthe Savard and Henri Laliberte.

The funeral will be held Monday, August 4 at 9 A.M. from the Roy Funeral Home, 1 Bouvier Avenue, Manville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
