Larry would call me every year to go to a White Sox game because I was the only friend who never asked for him for a ticket! I liked him as a human being, one of the good guys.

He is still missed.

Jeff Glass and I were walking in the area and we came upon Larry's home. In front was a plaque in front of a tree that said planted by Larry Pogofsky. Jeff and I stopped and reflected upon Larry's life and it was heartfelt. He was a great guy, a good friend, patient and human being. He is still sorely missed by all.

Brad,
John Lennon once said,"Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears." Your father was a great man who was loved by everybody and filled your world with endless opportunities and relationships. Your role is to be the best that you can be and make him proud. You will always have my support.

Dear Lynda, I can not begin to tell you how saddened I was to learn of Larry's passing. Larry and I met 50 years ago! We shared all of our high school, college, and grad school years together and am proud to say we have kept in touch ever since, athough separated by miles. It was truly a walk down memory lane to see all the names in the guest book that I recognize from Niles West and NIU. Larry and I roomed together our 1st semester at Northern and my mother, to her dying day, always remembered Larry's unpacking a suitcase full of hair brushes:) Larry was a true "mensch", always down to earth, caring, generous, fun-loving and a real friend (even though he was a Sox fan).
He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Lynda and Family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Larry. Though not close in these years (since college) that seem to fly by so quickly, Larry's passing is a shock to me as we went to grammer school and high school together at Niles West.

Joel Delman used to speak of Larry often and each time I would remember our years of past friendship with the gift of wonderful memories.

Noothing can take the pain of the loss away, but there are alot of people that also feel that pain with the passing of your husband, father, grandfather, friend, and childhood friend.

Larry will be greatly missed by all of us.

My very best wishes and condolences to you and your family in this time of loss.
