XENIA — L. Dee Pike Jr. age 84, of Xenia passed away on January 25, 2018. He was born July 26, 1933 in Nashville, TN to the late L. Dee and Marie Pike. He was also preceded in death by his sister Wyvona Brazil. L. Dee served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard for 33 years. He retired from the UDRI. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sue (Schoen) Pike of Xenia; sons Ed (Regina) Pike and Dale Pike; daughter Sherry (Maxey) Garner; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; as well as many other family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in Bellbrook Cemetery. L. Dee's family will greet friends from 1-2:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.NewcomerDayton.com.

Remembering Mr. Pike warms my heart he would come in dollar general with his wife and look for me and was always so nice through it all! I think of him often he is missed!

I am so greatful to have met Mr.D he was the sunshine that would light my day at Dollar General! He would come in and specifically look for me and always tell me he thought highly of me and thank me for being his friend! Well I thank you Mr. D Pike! I will miss you! As for Mrs. Sue I love you and I have you and your family in my heart and prayers love always
