As I sat to think about my uncle, Archbishop Lucius Hall, and couldn't help but to think of the many pastors that was around my uncle and fellowship with him, Prophet Johnson is one person that comes to my mind. Prophet Johnson told my uncle,as he stood in the pulpit at First Church Of Love and Faith, where my uncle is founder under God, Prophet Johnson will say "I'm in the walls and I ain't coming down." My uncle thought a lot of Prophet Johnson and appreciated him too. So many spiritual giants have gone on to be with the Lord and I'm glad the good Lord send them this way.

I grew up in the house of prayer. And it was the most profound experience that I ever had I got to see what a real man of God looks like. A man who knew only one thing giving this was the only thing he wanted to do. When he was getting sick and he had been in the hospital I called him he picked up the phone and he said son how are you doing what do you need hows the family What can I help you with and I said sir I didnt call to get anything I called because I wanted to know how you were doing and it got quiet he didnt say anything then he kind of laughed he said Im fine And I thought here was a man who is so used to giving that he didnt know anything else I have to say hes the greatest man I ever met There will never be another profit Johnson. I have to in with this how can I not in all thy ways acknowledge God and he will direct thy path. Praise God that he allowed me To meet the profit.

"In all ways acknowledge God and he will direct thy path" Prophet had such a huge impact on keeping my family strong, and most of all keeping us together. By me being young, I never really quite knew just how much of a staple he was to my Family. He has done so much, and words cannot express how much he has done for us. From the Billups-Brown family, Prophet we'll always Love you. First House of Prayer.

Thank you for the blessings you given me. When I was in doubt helping me to believe in GOD and to never question the Lord, because he will always provide for you and GOD doesn't make mistakes. I'm going to miss you, and could you please still guide me in life while you are in heaven.

Precious memories is what I can say about my pastor, prophet, counselor, friend and spirtualist father. For the largest part of my life I have been around him, as church secretary/nurse. He told my mother when I was a young girl, over 60 years ago that I would be his secretary. I remained in this position until he moved into his new home not made by man. If there ever was a living saint on earth, he qualifies. The only person I know that was all things to everyone he knew or met. Prophet, oh how you will be missed!!! I will see you in the morning.

"In all thy ways acknowledge God and he will direct thy path" Reverend L.K. Johnson taught us that every religion is good that teaches man to be good, and that religion is in the heart. He taught us that our church was a house of worship, a house of meditation, a house of ethics and a HOUSE OF PRAYER. Our church is God between four walls.

It would seem all my life I have known Prophet L.K. Johnson having grown up in First Church of Deliverance. This space it not large enough to tell of the many experiences I had because of Prophet. Every building the GOD NEVER FAILS Healing & Deliverance Ministries of Chicago occupied, 8350 South Ashland and 8000 South Aberdeen, Prophet found it, pray with me and the congregation about it, sent painters, carpenters, prepared food and whatever it took to get us in them. At least once a week I could expect a late night call with him offering his prayers, concerns and directions for me and the congregation. I certainly valued his wisdom and wise counsel. I was sorry my schedule could not permit me to travel to Chicago for his homegoing. I know he has left First House of Prayer in excellent hands of leadership. Many many wonderful people have touched my life but others have touched it profoundly. I shall never forget the little man, with the biggest heart, carrying "his wife" and showing up in downtown Chicago, airports where you would least expect to see him or just coming to the church I pastored, sitting quietly, always encouraging you to be better and more than you yourself thought you could. I thank God on every remembrance of Prophet L.K. Johnson and for the grace of God that allowed him life and that his life meant and means so much to countless thousands.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

"In all thy ways acknowledge GOD and he will direct thy path" Those of us who were blessed to be raised in the First House Of Prayer Church grew up on this passage. Through Rev's teaching and guidance we learned this to be true. Rev, you will be sorely missed, but I know that you are in our father's house and in a much better place. Thank you for all the prayers you had for me and my family. I will always carry with me your teachings and words of wisdom so I can pass on to my son. May the Lord welcome you with open arms.

What a blessing it is to live in a time when a major prophet was in our midst! We are blessed to know Prophet and be known by him. Prophet Johnson was not only our Pastor, but our mentor as well. He was always concerned about what was important or special to you. The teacher is no longer with us physically, but the teachings yet remain. Praise God for the life, love, and legacy of PROPHET L.K. JOHNSON! God bless Revs. Leverette as they carry on this great work.

My deepest sympathy! Indeed, Prophet Johnson was not an ordinary preacher nor steward in the army of the lord. His uniqueness and unconventional approach to ministering perhaps will speak volumes in years to come. Surely, we sorrow not, as those who have no hope; a hundred years plus speaks for it's self. Spiritually, let's remain encouraged and dutiful. Nothing has gone wrong and all is well!

Rev. Johnson, Was a man of Integrity, Character, and Morality. I was, and am Blessed, to have been born and raised, in The First House Of Prayer Church Family. Initially, when I learned of his passing, my heart was saddened because I would no longer see him on this earth. However, as I began to reflect. My sorrow was lifted. Because I knew,he was resting in the loving arm's of Jesus Christ. My Pastor was a very unique vessel. He would cook, Pay bills, pay mortgages, bury parishoner's,tend to his sheep, and work a real job! This is something, up and coming, and current pastor's need to learn. The true meaning of being a servant. Again, I'm Thankful, To Have Been Connected To His Life. He Knew, I Genuinely Loved, And Respected Him. That's What Counts, You Let A Person Know, How You Feel, When They Can See It, Hear It And Feel IT. Your Spiritual Daughter, Sonya Love
