I tried to quote "Howl" but I guess the Tribune wouldn't let it on. Here's a quote of Kurt's: "We're one, we're one"

Forever in our Hearts, Peace and Love

Kurt will understand this...

Mull Of Kintyre

Oh Mist Rolling In From The Sea,

My Desire Is Always To Be Here

Oh Mull Of Kintyre

Far Have I Traveled And Much Have I Seen

Dark Distant Mountains With Valleys Of Green.

Past Painted Deserts The Sunset's On Fire

As He Carries Me Home To The Mull Of Kintyre.

Mull Of Kintyre

Oh Mist Rolling In From The Sea,

My Desire Is Always To Be Here

Oh Mull Of Kintyre

Sweep Through the Heather Like Deer In The Glen

Carry Me Back To The Days I Knew Then.

Nights When We Sang Like A Heavenly Choir

Of The Life And The Time Of The Mull Of Kintyre.

Mull Of Kintyre

Oh Mist Rolling In From The Sea,

My Desire Is Always To Be Here

Oh Mull Of Kintyre

Smiles in the sunshine

And tears in the rain

Still take me back to where my memories remain

Flickering embers growing higher and higher

As they carry me back to the Mull of Kintyre

Mull Of Kintyre

Oh Mist Rolling In From The Sea,

My Desire Is Always To Be Here

Oh Mull Of Kintyre

Mull Of Kintyre

Oh Mist Rolling In From The Sea,

My Desire Is Always To Be Here

Oh Mull Of Kintyre

I remember Kurt as a caring man who could sing all the words from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He will be missed and thought of fondly.

My brother Steven brought Kurt into our lives and our family was forever changed by his humor, free spirit and curiousity about the world. I am deeply saddened to learn of his death. My best wishes go out to his family, wife and children.

We can never understand God's time table especially when it takes one so young and loved. The only assurance we can hold onto is that God's love cannot be undone. He will strengthen the weak and sustain those in pain. We pray for His strength to comfort you in this time of sorrow. --- Frank, Donna and family

I grew up with the Peterson kids. Mary Lynn and I used to watch Kurt for Vic and Jean. I have the mental picture of him as the cute little round-faced boy with curly hair and a smile. I always will.

I only met Kurt briefly on the day of preschool orientation. Both Serena and Kurt were friendly engaging people who shared in the excitement of sending our kids to school. I am so sad to hear of Kurt's death and Serena, Zoe, and Jacob will be in my prayers. My heart goes out to you in your feelings of tremendous loss.
