I have great memories of Kenny from my years in the Funny Fellows. I've gotten back in contact with most of the Guys in the last few years and it saddens me to have not seen Kenny again. May his memory be a blessing to his fiends and family.

When I moved to Albany Park in grade school Kenny was my very first friend I made. He and I spent a great deal of time together playing after school, weekends, vacations. We were in the Funny Fellows together.
Then are ways parted as I went to school in Wisconsin, Michigan and lived in Wisconsin. We never saw each other again, and yet in my heart whenever his name came up among our mutual friends my heart swelled with joy and fond memories.
May the love we all had of Kenny nourish you in these hard times.

Dear family of Ken Zoot,
I work as a Diet Aide at Northwest Community Hospital. One of my duties is to prepare the bedside tables prior to breakfast and lunch being served. I did this for Ken on several occasions.
The first time I entered his room we found a common bond in our love for our recently acquired dogs. It always gave us something to talk about.
I was saddened to hear that he had passed away and wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences to all of you.
May God give you comfort and strength in the days ahead as mourn the loss of this very kind and loving man.
Sincerely,
Jack Rubenstein

I expressed my humble and sincere condolences at visitation to you, Mary, to your children and to Randi within the limitation of a room full of others who had come to pay their respects to Kenny. You should know that Kenny was a wonderful friend to all of us and one of the most beloved of any of the Funnny Fellows because of his easy going gentle ways. He always cared about the other guy and would listen to you if there was a problem and tried to help out. He was full of fun though a quiet and shy member of the group. I rediscovered Kenny in the early 90's and we set up a line of communication between us both by phone and by e-mail. He always liked getting the weekly notes I sent out about what's happening with the guys and sometimes would answer back with comments. I too wish that I could have spent more time with Kenny in the latter years as I know my life would have been enriched by his friendship. I know that you and the family will miss him and we the Funny Fellows family of his friends will miss him as well. May God bless you now and in the future.
