Kenneth H. Wimmer
Kenneth Herbert Wimmer, 76, of East Greenville, died Wed., Nov. 17, 2004, in LifeQuest, Quakertown. He was the husband of Joyce M. (Schaffer) Wimmer. They were married for 35 years. Born on Nov. 5, 1928, in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Uriah A. and Mamie M. (Hallman) Wimmer. He worked as an electrician. He was a member of Electricians Union Local 385. He was a Korean War veteran, serving with the Army. A founding member of the Milford Township Fish, Game and Forestry Association, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Judy A. Gerhart of Coopersburg, Linda C. Wimmer of Quakertown, Wendy R. Deitcher of Pennsburg, Melissa S. Gagliano-Schweizerhof of Pennsburg; sons, Kenneth S. Wimmer and Michael S. Wimmer, both of Quakertown; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters. He was predeceased by a sister. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2004, Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Red Hill. Visitation, 10-11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment, St. Pauls Cemetery, Red Hill.
