Well, I'm another student in his fiancé's 3rd grade classroom (circa 1970). Can't say I remember the orange juggling, but I do remember him hanging out in the classroom happily waiting for his "bride" to get off of work! As a 9 year old, with my parents about to get divorced, it was refreshing to see such genuine love. Carol, I'm so very sorry for your loss. You have my sincerest condolences. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I'll always remember him juggling oranges in his fiancé's 3rd grade classroom, trying to impress all of Carol's students. I was one of them, and it clearly worked! When I return to volunteer at the food bank in January, I'll donate a few boxes of clementines in his honor.

Ken, you were a great fellow and I will always remember you. Somehow, dinner with you and Carol at Chez Paul in Chicago (circa 1978) sticks in my mind. DHR is/was a clever and versatile enterprise with you in control.
Deepest sympathy to Carol and family,

As a former neighbor at 1410, I know he will be missed by his friends and family. He was always a gentleman.
