Carol, I miss you so much. I loved our meet ups in the city. I just wish I knew how much you were ailing and I was devastated at your passing. And still am. Love and miss you. Your friend Sue Dionne

Carol and I met because she graciously returned a gold bracelet I had lost in Bloomingdales on Michigan Avenue. We exchanged Christmas cards and other notes. After her husband passed, I asked if she ever wanted to meet up, and so we did. That started our friendship. Her passing was so unexpected and hard to accept. I didn´t know what happened and each year I feel her loss more and more. She was a cherished friend and I miss her dearly.

I remember the first time we met up under the Marshal Fields clock and then shared lunch at the Walnut Room! Meeting up was always so much fun. We would talk for hours. I miss those times and I miss you. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

Mrs Shraiberg was my third grade teacher at Eugene Field school in 1977. I thought of her recently when I read that the president of France had married his third grade teacher. I made a plan to call and say hello and had just taken the time to try to do it today only to learn to my dismay that I was too late and will never have the chance. She was a beautiful woman. She taught me long division. She was also thoughtful enough to write me when I was in high school when she read that my grandmother had died. Our lives will all be less without her. My condolences to her family.

Carol and I were classmates at The Immaculata High School. I have such fond memories of her as a very warm and caring person with a sparkle in her eye who was always wearing a beautiful smile. She was an excellent student who possessed much integrity and always exuded class. As the years passed, we saw one another at Mac events. Her gentle demeanor and great smile hadn't changed one iota. She truly continued to radiate goodness and happiness. So sorry for your loss-Carol was a wonderful person.

My heart is breaking. Carol and I became friends when she found and returned a bracelet I lost in Bloomingdales. We would send Christmas cards to each other, having never met. When she lost her husband, we ended up finally meeting. We met at Macy's under the clock and had lunch in the Walnut Room. We would try to meet every couple of months. The last time was at Yolks in the train station. We would talk about so many things and she would send articles from the paper. Carol was the kindest, most caring person I've ever met! I will miss her terribly! Rest In Peace my dear friend.
