Kenneth Reilly Obituary
Beloved husband of Eleanore Reilly (nee Zalud). Loving father of Susan (Tom) Niemiera, Cathy (Bill) Madura, Jeff (Gail) Reilly, Michelle (Bob) Holesha & Doug Reilly. Adored grandpa of 8 and great grandpa of 2. Kind uncle of many nieces & nephews. Fond brother of the late John, Terry & Mike. Today we lost an amazing man and my hero, Kenneth Edward Reilly. Ken was gentle, loving and respectful soul, despite over 15 years with Alzheimer's! He enjoyed 65 years of wedded bliss to his bride Eleanore and had 5 amazing children, including in-laws, 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren! Alzheimer's robbed him of so much, but never his smile, love of food, amazing dance moves or genuine caring of others. Kenny was well loved, not only by his family, but also by his Heartis Family! They selflessly continued loving, caring and respecting him until his last breath. They truly made Ken's last years an amazing testament to a terrible disease. We will miss you, but at least you are free. Visitation Saturday, February 4 th from 9:00 am until time of chapel prayers, 1:00 pm at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W 127 th Street, Palos Heights. Proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, Mass 1:30 pm. Interment will be private.

My first cousin Ken was a special man. He was always a pleasure to be around and made life fun. He was easy to engage with and always so genuine. A great sense of humor and owned the dance floor. We enjoyed family weddings together and great conversations. Have always admired him and will miss him. RIP Ken. Love you. Keith Costello

I knew Ken when he was Sales Manager at Ryerson Steel, Chicago. Humble, kind, funny, thoughtful and engaged. Ken was approachable and listen intently to customer stories, personal challenges and offered his advice when called upon. He loved to laugh and make others do so. I will always remember him in good health and cheer. Rest in comfort now, Kenny.
