Dear Raush Family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. We knew Kenny from when he was selling for AAA. We used to buy from him and he became a really good friend to us. He would always invite us to his place in Wisconsin but we had the stores and did'nt seem to find time to get away and go, for which we are sorry about. Kenny and Marge would always stop when they were on the way to Wisconsin because we were in Woodstock on Rt 47, alot of times they had the grandchildren with them. Kenny also talked so much about his cruises that he got my son hooked and he would go on a few. We all loved Kenny and pray that all your memories will see you through this sad time. We wanted to come to the wake but I did'nt read it right, I thought it was Thurs. & Friday night so please accept our condolences now. And please tell your children that their grandpa was the most proud of them and that they were the highlight of his life because when he would come to the store that would be all he would talk about was his grandchildren and how he loved them. God bless all of you and keep you strong.

We were so sorry to hear about Ken. We have such good memories of our days together at St. Louise, especially the Cub Scouts. Please accept our sympathy and know we will keep Ken in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Loved Ones of Ken,
I am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of times with my cousins. My life as single parent here in Traverse City keeps me busy. I am sorry I am not able to be there in person, but am grateful for the technology which allows me to send this greeting. The life my precious daughters, Jessi and Molly, and I have found here is filled with one blessing after another. I pray that anyone reading this, who does not have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, would come to know Him. I didn't accept Him into my heart until my late 40's. I thank Him for waiting so patiently for me.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" Matthew 7:21-23
"...I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." John 3:3
There is NOTHING we can do to earn our way to heaven. Think about it: if we could add something to what Jesus did on the cross, then what He did was for nothing. God bless you all.
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Php 4:7
Love,
Mary (Vlach) Sawyer
