Kenneth Jenkins Obituary
Kenneth A. Jenkins, age 86, passed away on Monday, October 23rd, 2023. He is survived by his beloved children; Thomas (Beth) Jenkins, Donna (late Jerry) Watson and David (Tammy) Jenkins; cherished grandchildren: Jamie, Matt, Courtney, Keith and Hannah; proud great grandpa of 11. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" Jenkins and son, James E. Jenkins.
Kenneth was a longtime resident of Chicago Ridge, Illinois, where he served as a volunteer firefighter for many years. He was a graduate of Tilden Tech High School. Kenneth went on to work as an auto mechanic for Jack Thompson Oldsmobile. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Kenneth that will take place on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 from 3 - 7 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30th, 2023, with 10 am prayers from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home to Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church with mass at 11 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
