Keith HOLEMAN Obituary

HOLEMAN Keith V. Keith V. Holeman, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Sunset Village after a short illness. He was born November 15, 1932 in Grundy Center, Iowa to Oswald and Grace (Smith) Holeman. A veteran of the US Army, he served his country from 1953-1955. After the armed forces he graduated from Iowa State University in 1957 with an engineering degree. Keith was an engineer with Proctor and Gamble for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a former volunteer with Ronald McDonald House both in Toledo and Cincinnati, and also volunteered at Flower Hospital. He enjoyed golf, reading and crossword puzzles. Keith was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; and son, Timothy. He is survived by son, Michael (Christina) Holeman; daughter, Kellie (Kevin) Szenderski; daughter-in-law, Jeriel McAndrews; grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob and Samuel; and brother, John (Marcia) Holeman. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home and Crematory 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Thursday September 1, from 4-8 PM where funeral services will follow Friday at 11 AM. Interment Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Epworth United Methodist Church, 3077 Valleyview Dr., Toledo, Ohio 43615.
