What a lovely lady your mom was to so many! She exemplified the Christian way and leaves behind a large family to carry on her kind and charitable path. I remember so many nice cards she sent me and my family in her beautiful penmanship. God Bless all of you.

I sometimes wonder, if it wasn't for your strong leadership, would I have sent our children to a Catholic grade school when money was tight, or celebrated the holidays with joyful traditions (Remember baking Christmas cookies from early morning to late at night and giving them to neighbors and friends.). All those sleep-overs during school holidays with kids sleeping wall-to-wall on the living room/dining room floor. The time I took a nap on the bed with the kids and woke to find myself in a puddle of water thinking my waterbag had leaked because my baby was overdue. It was such a relief to find that it wasn't my waterbag but that one of your kids wet the bed. I remember going to the Patzelt boys' baseball games, watching the kids have fun at the public pool, impetigo, pinworms, prayers before meals, night prayers, singing our kids to sleep.
What would we have done without each other in our childhood to make life so special. Our songs, our sharing, our friendship, our togetherness through thick and thin...Thank you God for my sister Kay.
