You will be greatly missed by all. All the way over here in New York, we heard of the sad news. Most remembered of "Birdie" is her sense of humor and witty jokes. We all shared a laugh or two with her at one point. Best wishes to the family and friends.

To Kelly and all the family,
I am so sorry to hear about Kay. We grew up to be teenagers in New York. I always knew her as "Birdie" and she always called me "nanny goat". We lost touch with each other off and on through the years. When we did find each other we always had such good visits and non-stop conversation. Every letter she wrote to me was always full of laughter and a good joke or two. I would read her letters with a smile and laughter everytime. I made it back to NY after all these years and wish we could have been in contact. She will be missed so much. Birdie and I are the same age and have shared alot with each other, she never forgot my birthday. When she did have a current address for me she would always remember my birthday and send me a card along with pictures of her kids and a nice newsy letter. My prayers and condolences go to the children and other loved ones. I've only had the opportunity to meet Pony when he was very little. I hope some day I can meet him again along with his brother and sister.
My Love and prayers to all of "Birdie's" family,
from "Nanny Goat" and family
LOVE YA "BIRDIE KAY"!

Good-Bye to your Friend with Love.
It is so hard to say Good-Bye
The tears pour fourth,as we all cry
We want to see that face, that smile.
We wont be ready, for a while.
To say Good-Bye to one we knew
Who lived and loved and laughed so true.
We realize a broken heart
Is there inside you and apart.
From all the things,we do not say
We wanted you to know today
That your love was a gentle kind
Of tenderness.So hard to find.
And though we may not say much more
Outside that giant hard wood door
For it would cause more tears to flow,
We still wanted you to know.
We say Good-Bye to our Friend with love,
And pray God saves your place.Above

Do not stand at my grave and weep, for I am not there, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripend grain, I am the gentle autumn rain, I am the soft stars that shine at night, do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there,I did not die I just went away.
There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real.
I love you and miss you! love always Girlie girl

Kelly or Wayne,
Hi! I am very sad to hear about Kay, I haven't heard from her since September. I hope you are both doing fine. She was a great person with a good sense of humor, she will be forever in my heart. I feel bad that I didn't get to tell her I did care and I loved her and her friendship was true to me. I am so sorry for your lost. But she is happy now and healthy, I know she was tired of being a diabetic. I wish you and your family the best during this time. Wayne I know you helped her with the kids and I know you love them just like your own, because you are the only father they knew. God bless you for having such a big heart and caring for Kay and her kids. God bless you all. My condolences are with you all. Love Kim Chee Chee (Kay called me this, never by my real name.)
