Kathryn Devol Obituary
News Death Notice
DEVOL, Kathryn age 79, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Hospice of Dayton. She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio by her late mother Viola Doggett. Kathryn retired from Miami Valley Hospital after many years of service as a unit coordinator. She was a member of the Grandparent Program where she worked with pre-school children from serving them lunches to teaching them how to read. Kathryn is preceded in death by her brother Fred Bookwalter and brother-in-law Robert Little. She is survived by her daughter Tamela Sanders of Dayton, grandchildren Eric and Sara Sanders, sister Bonnie little, niece Tanya Crislip, nephews Rob and Jay Little, and a host of family members. Funeral service 11:30 am Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME Belmont Chapel, with Rev. Steve Kimpel officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family to receive friends 10:00am Thursday until time of service.

Tammy, how ironic that my mom and I were talking about you and your mom yesterday, and then I read of her passing today. I will always remember her laugh and all the places she took us when we were growing up. She was a devoted mom and I know you will miss her. I have to work on Thursday but will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Please call me if you need anything.
