Len and Family, Sandy, Mary Jo, Mike, and Pat: We were very saddened to hear about Kathy. Had talked to her several times since Xmas and knew she was fighting hard. She deeply loved her family, past and present, and always joyfully kept us informed of what was going on in your lives and sent Christmas photos of the family gatherings. We'll miss her very much.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I went to grammar school with Kathy at St. Sabina....She and her wonderful family lived at 82nd & Ada with us growing up. I shall always remember her smile, her 'turn lemons into lemonade' attitude and her love of family and friends. My heartfelt condolences to her entire family. Kathy was a wonderful woman.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Kathy. She was a dear friend to the Burke-Ready Family for over 50 years. She was an inspiration to me during my chemo treatments last year, always encouraging me, and giving me hope. I will miss her phone calls and wonderful sense of humor. May she rest in peace.
