Mock, Katherine Petress

Kathi (62), daughter of Moira Chiaramonte and the late Philip Petress, passed away unexpectedly on May 3rd, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Peter Mock; children James (Kelsea) Bernasek II, Staci (Jon) Anderson, Toni Mock, and Nathan Mock; grandchildren Derrik (Rachel) Bernasek, Brayden Bernasek, and Tinley Bernasek; siblings Phylis (Bob) Myers, Athena (Don) Ransom, and Tom (Rita) Bourdage; and several other family members, in-laws, and friends. She is preceded in death by her step-father, Nick Chiaramonte. Kathi will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a caring mother, wife, and daughter. She was known for her generosity, wit, and charisma. She was a skilled writer and photographer, wonderful cook, and refined traveler. She was passionate about gathering family and friends together, and planned many fun and exciting outings, celebrations, and vacations that will be forever cherished by those who knew her. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation honoring Kathi's life on Thursday, May 13th from 3:00 – 8:00 PM, at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C.108 Illinois St. Lemont. A private memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 14th at 11:00 AM at Saint Patrick's Church in Lemont, IL.
