Schroeder, Karl F. 79, passed away November 14, 2007 in Joliet. Beloved father of Mark, Pam (Steve) of East Stroudsburg, PA., Matt (Carol) of Crystal Lake, IL, Karen (Tracy) of Cherokee Village, AR, Debora of Hometown, IL, and Mary Beth (Lee) of Minooka, IL; loving grandfather of 10 and cherished great-grandfather of four; beloved brother of Ursala and Hans (Margaret). Karl was preceded in death by his parents John and Magda Schroeder. He was a US Army veteran of Korean War, and a member of the Chicago Painters Union for 35 years. Per Karl's wishes, a private family memorial service has been held. Donations in his name may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, Illinois, 60431.
