Valentino, Karen L.

Karen L. Valentino, 80, of Findlay and formerly of Chicago, passed away on Wednesday, October 09, 2024 at The Heritage, Findlay, OH.

Karen was born on February 06, 1944, in Chicago, IL to Edward and Loretta (Dusik) Manning. Both parents preceded her in death. On November 25, 1967, she married Anthony C. Valentino. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2006.

Survivors include her daughters, Loren (Michael) Burkes of Tiffin, OH and Judith (Scott) Nekolny of Loveland, OH sons, Gerard (Dana) Valentino of Pickerington, OH; favorite child Edward (Tara) Valentino of Peoria, Il and nine grandchildren, Jack, Katherine, Alexandra, Scott, Christen, Karen, Anthony, Luca and Leia. She was a fond aunt and godmother. Karen was loved by many friends and family.

Karen graduated in 1962 from Kelly High School in Chicago. She loved BINGO, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Blackhawks! She enjoyed a big bowl of ice cream, and a good scotch and water. Her favorite past times were shopping and playing Zoo Keeper on her Nintendo DS. What she loved most were her grandchildren and spending time with them.

A private Memorial Service will be held at Hoffmann-Gottfried Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. An additional service and burial at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Joliet, IL will be held in Chicago at a later date.
