When we think of our time in Chicago, we think of "the Raymond's." You quickly went from neighbors to friends. Lifetime friends, often in our thoughts.
When we left Chicago, and our son Michael behind, it was comforting to know you were there for him, becoming extended family to him and (our) Karen.
Karen was "good people." She was open and real, warm and kind, all in her own unique way. The last time we talked, it was as though we had never been apart. Although we haven't seen each other in years, we will miss her. We mourn her passing and the fact that we won't have another chance to enjoy her. Hopefully this loss will teach us ALL that we don't know how long we have to touch the people we cherish.
Our hearts and prayers go out to you all. And particularly on this Christmas Eve, you will be on our minds. You set a standard for that event that we have never been able to match!
We would love to see you if you find yourselves in Arizona.
Love, from Mike & Mary Ellen Bianchino

There are no words. All those Christmas Eves, Easter Sundays and summer BBQs at your house. You have always been such a big part of our lives. We still can't believe Karen is gone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We wish we could be there.
