Tom,
I just heard about Karen yesterday while I was at a baby shower. I am from Bridgeport and lived around the corner from her on 31st & Morgan. My maiden name is Mocny. We went to Benton House, Girl Scouts and high school together. She was two years older than me and I idolized her! A truly beautiful person. I met up with her in later years at St. Mary's Holy Name Xmas parties where we both brought our children. I probably haven't seen Karen for more than 20 years. I am so very sad to hear this news and feel the world will not be as bright without her. I just had to let you know how sorry I am. My deepest sympathy to you, your children and to her dear sister, Holly.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. As a family with a firm foundation in the Catholic faith, you know your mom and wife has entered the Kingdom of Christ Triumphant and is sharing in the joys of the Resurrection. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Remember that grief is nothing more than love that doesn't want to let go.
