Wolf-
Sorry to hear of the passing of your wife. I always considered you to be one of the "special" doctors at St. Francis, who I could always speak with and get wise advice without a personal motive, but always saying freely what was best for me. I was sad to see you leave. I'm sure your wife was special too. I'm very sorry, my friend.
Regards, Bruce Hymanson

Dear Dr. Peddinghaus,
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your wife, Jutta. For many years, you have cared for my family through your medical practice: my mother, my father, and especially for my husband, Donald Kemp, who passed away on April 3rd. Throughout my husband's long illness, you were always there for us, with such kindness, compassion and wisdom. I had no idea that you were suffering through your own family tragedy. What grace God has given you, that you were able and willing to care for my loved ones, and all your other patients, so tirelessly and selflessly, while your own family was in crisis. I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family, and also my gratitude for your many years of service and kindnesses to my husband.

Jutta and I learned to weave together;we had many laughs and good talks.Being at her home,I saw very quickly how much she loved family and pets. I will always remember her positive attitude.

I miss Jutta - I miss her enthusiasm for her crafts, her love of creating and her determination to master each craft in turn. I also miss our quiet lunches and our hours of working together quilting or weaving or trying to spin. Women like Jutta are rare. To have a friend like her is a great gift. I have missed her since she slipped ever more deeply into her
illness but I also am in awe of her courage in the face of pain unimaginable to those of us spared the experience. May she rest in the palm of the hand of God awaiting those of us who love her to rejoin her in peace everlasting.
