Okun, June Gallan 86, of Coconut Creek, FL and formerly of Chicago. Beloved wife of Dr. Arthur Okun and the late Jules Gallan; loving mother of Paula (Dennis) Kupperman, Robert Gallan and Andrea Willams; devoted nana of Michael Kupperman, Tracey (Marc) Hornstein and Jayna and Kimberly Williams; treasured great-nana of Blake, Julia, Ryan and Joshua. Graveside service Friday, 1 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, 2223 N Sawyer Ave., Chicago, IL, 60647. For info: Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 847-255-3520.

Dearest Paula and Family:
My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of your beloved mother.
I know what it is to lose someone so dear to you and while the loss can never be replaced, I know you will always cherish the wonderful memories you have of her. She will always remain close in your heart and for that and the love you shared you will, in time, always treasure.
You know, I hope, I will always be there for you as your friend and for moral support.

Paula,
Mom and I are so sorry for your loss. It doesn't seem real, and we still can't really believe it. We feel so bad for you and what you are going through. She loved you so much and we know she was very happy you were with her at the end.
We love you and will always remember your mom.
