Julius Rawls Obituary

Out of respect; I am trying to find out if this Rev. Julius Rawls is the same one who performed the services of my husband (Reynaldo Ward)in April, 2013 at A.A. Rayner's & Sons. We sent a "thank you" letter to the funeral home but it was returned to us. We just want to say that he did a wonderful job of which we (wife & children) really appreciated because my husband was one of a kind. He was an all around person who loved the arts, have a well educated family on both sides, six children, 23 grandchildren and many great-grand children. The whole family appreciated the message that the Rev. delivered. I will tell you why. You can reach me at [email protected]

Today, tomorrow, and forevermore you will be missed. I miss our talks and your spiritual knowledge which guided me through each day. I am so glad that you're no longer suffering. I love you much, but GOD loved you more. Rest in Peace until we see each other again.

I was very sad to hear of Rev. Rawls passing. He was my youth pastor at Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church. A great mentor, leader and teacher. He will be truly truly turly missed by all. God bless his wife, children and his entire family.

I just found out about Rev. Rawls passing yesterday and my heart is broken. He was my youth pastor at Mt. Hope Baptist Church when I was a member. I grew up in the church singing in the choir. He eulogized my grandfather's funeral service last year around this time. God bless his wife and children and his entire family. You all are in my prayers. Much love,

Julius,I will miss you terribly. I thank God for allowing me to have experienced a Brother/Sister relationship. I will keep my sister and my nieces and their families close.
