Julie Fossi-Teigen Obituary

Fossi-Teigen, Julie 59 Feb. 08, 1953 March 13, 2012 Born Feb. 8, 1953 in McCook, Neb., to Ben and Margie Bowers. She moved to the Portland area as a teenager and graduated from Beaverton High School in 1971. She married Carl Astor Fossi and had two children, Richard and James. Julie and Carl separated in 1989; Julie later remarried her longtime boyfriend, Clark Teigen, in 2006 whom she met in 1993. They were together a total of 19 years. Julie was a graduate of PCC. She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital in N.W. Portland for 30 years, 20 of which were spent in the E.R. admitting department. Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, bowling, reading and being with friends. Julie especially liked going to festivals, thrill parks and traveling to Mexico for her birthdays. Julie had a love for life and was well-known in the N.W. Portland area. A friendly and selfless woman, who will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Her family would like to give special thanks to her private driver and angel, Sirous, (Sy) for his caring and quick thinking. Thank you!
