I met Julia when i joined the Altar and Rosary Society at SSCM.
Julia was a gem. She was a very devoted person to anything she did. I was very fortunate to be her companion while dusting off and fixing the altars at SSCM. She did it with alot of love and that i learned from her. She would bring in the purificators for the Mass...very nicely pressed and perfect.
I will always remember her bringing her own cleaning supplies especially the Clorox wipes...wiping down...everything!!!...she was ahead of her time..who wouldve thought... that the whole world would be doing the same thing!
She always asked how my boys were doing...and if i had an issue... she would pray for them. She always spoke about her dear "Tony" and "Angie". A very loving mother she was.... and after learning her life...a very brave and courageous woman she was too........many can learn and be inspired from her life...
Angie, I am so sorry for your loss.. Your mom was a pearl in the sea.
I will miss you Julia.

Julia is one of my favorite people. Have fond memories of our Saturday morning masses and breakfasts a few years back. The world is a better place because of Julia.

Julia will be missed dearly. I became friends with her at St. Cyril's. Julia was funny, hard working and had a big heart for everyone. She had cleaned the church, counted the collections and volunteered at other events. I will miss praying the pro-life Rosary with her on Wednesday afternoons at the St. Al chapel. Julia always made it a point to pray for vocations on first Fridays. She was a great example to others and always remained positive. She spoke affectionately of her daughter Angela and their beagle Bentley. Julia was a treasure.

I had the privilege of knowing Julia through St.Cyril’s. She was a real sweetheart. We would run into each other here and there and she always remembered my kids and she always had a smile. So very sad to hear of her passing. We were on a altar and rosary together. I was secretary and she was treasurer? Spent some great times with her. I am really sorry for your loss.

We will miss Julia so much. I am glad we got a chance to see her on our last trip to Chicago. My Mom (Barbara Koziol) will definitely miss her visits, their talks, her laughter and their Dunkin Donuts coffee dates. She was a sweet and kind woman. She knew how to make us smile and stay positive. May your memories comfort you during this time. Our deepest sympathies, hugs and prayers.

Dear Angela,
I fondly remember your mom from working with her at Fashion Bed Group. I remember her as a woman of strength with a strong work ethic. She could always lift my spirits and make me smile. And the trips to Gloria Jean's to visit her and get my favorite Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee were always special to me.
Now God is smiling with his precious daughter. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Angela,
I am so sorry to hear of Julia’s passing. I worked with Julia at Fashion Bed Group for many years and she always made me laugh. She was such a hard working, strong minded woman- yet one of the most kindest and caring ladies I had the pleasure of knowing. She introduced me to tea from her days at Gloria Jeans which I so enjoy today. She always talked about her “Ang” too. I’m so sorry I will not be able to attend the service. God Bless and may she Rest In Peace.
