Judith A. Melvan (nee Becker), age 81, of Oak Forest, passed away June 28, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George M. Melvan, Sr. Loving mother of Cynthia (George) Bailey, George (Dena) Melvan, Jr., and Jack Melvan. Dearest grandmother of Adam, Angela, Paul, Nicole, Sarah, Ryan, George, Lauren, Budd, Amy, Roo, Rebecca, and J.T. Cherished great-grandmother of Shayne, Jackson, Lili, Cullen, Trent, Aiden, Mae, Lea, Wyatt, Olive, and Judah. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Mary (Dennis) Sulkus and the late Robert Becker. Dearest daughter of the late Frank "Budd" and Caroline Becker. Judith lived a life lead by love and laughter. She cultivated a world from within that was beautiful and unique. Her generosity and love was felt by all that knew her, it was genuine and pure. Judith's love and life revolved around her family. The innocence, wonder, and curiosity of her great-grandbabies brought her immeasurable joy and happiness. Judith loved her gardens, trinkets and treasures, thrift stores, garage sales, and the view of her birds from her kitchen window. She will be dearly and forever missed. Funeral Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Forest, Illinois. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
