I remember as a child calling Juanita "mommy Melendez", she was my 2nd mom. She took care of my while my mom and dad were at work and I loved spending time with her as a child. I remember nothing but happy times in her house. My condolences go to the family as they are close friends of my family for over 30 years now. Juanita was loved dearly and I will keep the family in prayer and ask our Lord for comfort during this time of grieving.
