Dear Mesi Family,
Your mom was truly the most wonderful and magnificent lady. You all were very fortunate to call her "Mother" and she was very fortunate to have each and every one of you as her special child. She regarded all of you as her "best" & favorite. Takes a lot of love & compassion to do that.
Life is full of happenstances. How lucky the Mentone family was around 1970 when your mom and dad welcomed us into their hearts, lives & home. No one I know could be more hospitable than your parents. We have so many wonderful memories of the great times & 4th of July's we spent with you. We can never forget all the fun.
Pat & I are very grateful that all of you and our boys are still friendly & you are still a part of theirs and our lives.
Mom is in a better place & with your dad. That is very comforting.
God Bless all of you.

My memories of Joyce are that of a most gracious lady, emphasizing lady, with a sweet disposition and kindness pouring out from her smile. She was so beautiful, I thought she was an angel. My dad and mom, Frank and Adeline Restivo, thought so very highly of her as well. I remember as a child wanting to be just like Joyce...I am still trying...it's a huge ambition! Prayers for all her children and grandchildren for comfort and peace.

Dear Jay, Teri, and Joyce's family: Judy and I came to know your mother through her visits to Springfield over the years. She was a joy to be around and we will miss her very much. We hope that you find comfort in knowing that she made friends and cherished memories wherever she went, and that she is now again able to enjoy those memories. She, and all of you are in our prayers. God Bless and Deepest Sympathies.

I loved Mrs. Mesi. Seeing her was like going home. I will always remember her as a wonderful Mom & friend to our family. Such fond memories of the pool & hockey in the winter. I will miss talking to her about old times. Prayers are with all the Mesi's.

The end of an era. The Mesi home was headquarters to so many in Elmwood Park because of the generosity and love of "Aunt Joyce". Will always cherish those special memories. Love to all the Mesi family.
