Martha Ritter
March 3, 2012
We were so sorry to hear about Joyce's passing. We met her through (Jean Foster), aka grandma Jean. She was good friends with Horst Ritter, and came to dinner at our house 2 to 3 times a week for ten years. My kids got to have a wonderful lady in their lives that they called grandma because their own grandma was far away and rarely visited them. I just want to thank you for letting us know and enjoy Grandma Jean and for meeting your mom. The last time was at Grandma Jeans house when our daughter played the oboe for Joyce and Jean. It was a precious time, knowing how much they both enjoyed it.

My thoughts are with Joyce and the family. It was a pleasure getting to know Joyce and I will treasure the short amount of time that she was in my life, she was truly a remarkable woman. She will be forever in my thought and prayers.
