Josephine Wolf Obituary

Wolf, Josephine Patricia It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to our angel on earth, Josephine Patricia Wolf. Josephine was born in 1919 to Anna and Jacob Jalowiec. She was joined in her childhood by her beloved sister Marie Jalowiec Holewinski and her devoted brother John "Jack" Jalowiec. They were part of the Greatest Generation that lived through the Great Depression and World War II; not just lived, but thrived and were strengthened by their trials and tribulations. After the war, Josephine met, fell in love with and married the man of her dreams, John B. Wolf, a veteran of WWII, the milk man. They lived happily ever after until his premature passing in 1981. Their marriage produced four children, Thomas (married to Nancy Beck), John (married to Linda Schiewe), Donna (married to John Galligan) and MaryAnn (married to Thomas Rowan), all who enjoyed the idyllic lives of children in the 1950's. The children followed their loving parents' example and brought twelve grandchildren into this world: John Leonard and Thomas Michael Wolf; John Marshall, Lindsey Joy, Anna Adele and Nathan Paul Wolf; John Francis, Jr., Michael John and Mary Josephine Galligan; and Briana Marie, Kimberly Ann and Thomas Michael Rowan, Jr. The procreation has continued with the births of great-grandchildren, Anthony Raymond Wolf and Michael John Galligan, Jr. and while we mourn the loss of our beloved mother (najdrozsza Momusia) and grandmother (Busia) we know her everlasting life is only beginning with our heavenly Father and with all those loved ones who have gone before. Therefore through our tears, we REJOICE! Dowidzenia Busia. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of her life at Cooney Funeral Home at 625 Busse Road in Park Ridge, Illinois on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m.; and at her funeral mass at Saint Andrew Church on Addison and Paulina in Chicago on Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. 847-685-1002.
