This is the saddest news I have heard in just returning back to the Midwest. Jo so fondly addresed by her friends was a very positive person. If you were sad she could say the funniest things to bring not just a smile, but full laughter in the midst. Now knowing that I will not be able to find her anywhere to chat about old times is very difficult. May God bless us all, we need it very much. She was indeed a very special peerson and friend.

I was lucky enough to live next door to Josephine for many years. I thanked her every day for her beautiful garden that my porch overlooked. We spent many happy hours together planting, watering, weeding... and even sweeping our sidewalks together. She was a dear and devoted woman and I am so sorry for the loss.

There are no words to express the sorrow and loss we feel for Josephine's family. She was a wonderful person and a joy to know. Her years of dedication to GSA was limitless, she always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed.
